PLANNING PERMISSION HAS BEEN GRANTED FOR THIS SOLAR PANEL ARRAY – SPOILING OUR LOCAL COUNTRYSIDE IN A RECOGNISED AREA OF OUTSTANDING BEAUTY. PLANNING PERMISSION WAS REFUSED IN AUGUST 2011 BY LANCASTER CITY COUNCIL. DESPITE PROCEDURES NOT BEING FOLLOWED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY AND NEIGHBOURS NOT BEING CONSULTED DURING AN APPEAL PROCESS, APPROVAL WAS GRANTED BY THE PLANNING INSPECTORATE (BASED IN BRISTOL), PLEASE SUPPORT OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD AND SIGN OUR PETITION
