Stop the Trusted Computing Group and its ideals

Is it wrong to want freedom over the monopoly-based profit of a few multi-billion dollar companies? Is it wrong to want a *wide* choice of software and hardware vendors? Is it wrong to want software to be allowed to be free? I think not. Those who sign this also think not.
For those who know little of the Trusted Computing Group and their aims, I direct you to :

And my personal views [as creator of the petition] on the matter:
http://www.freepgs.com/croinch/atcpa/TrustedComputing.doc

It is our belief that the Trusted Computing Group's ideals, if fulfilled, will take away some of our basic human rights. Not just because I am a programmer or software developer. I am not a criminal in any way, and as the average end user, as the average 14-year-old, I would find their ideals detrimental to me and the computing activities in which I take part, as do the undersigned. I plead that those companies in the TCG empathise, consider others and the rights of others, and consider also the anger they could create.
