Support of proposed white away kit for Arsenal F.C.

We, by hereby signing this petition, are showing our total approval at the proposed white away kit for Arsenal F.C. 2007-2008 season.

We believe that this decision is a masterstroke by LArsenal board one that confirms their attitude to Arsenal traditions.

Traditions such as:
Claiming to be the best North London team when every body knows we sneaked over the Thames under the cover of darkness in an exchange deal (south London had Millwall dumped on them and Im still unsure who got the wrong end of that one).

Valuing the history of Highbury Marble Halls (and Formica changing rooms) to such a degree that you tore it down to build a block of flats so expensive that the only time Arsenal fans would be in them would be when they are being burgled.

Building a state-of-the-art stadium that that will guarantee to generate less atmosphere than the moon until 2050.

And finally..

To take on a kit in a colour that not only trashes decades of memories but allows us to emulate the great teams of the past and future. Teams such as:

Manchester United (Away): The first English team to win the European Cup. We were the last English team to try and win the European Cup - we all know how that ended.

Chelsea (Away): We may not have their money, their talent, their charismatic Manager or their last two premiership titles, but we do have their gift for cheating, diving and general Ive been hard done by attitude

Real Madrid (Home): So similar to us. A once great team of French and Brazilians that are have lost their form quicker than Beckham signing on the dotted line for LA Galaxy

Tottenham (Home): First team to win the League/Cup double and the first English team to win a trophy in Europe and more history than Pete Dohertys Rap sheet. If there is one team in all the world that we should copy (kit-colour wise) then its the Spurs.

(Still, its better than the yellow/puke away kit ensemble of the early 90s)



By signing this we indicate our intention to purchase the white kit at every available opportunity and thereby cement our reputation as sheep.
