We support holding of the already announced elections in Pakistan on January 8, 2008 so that democratic rule in Pakistan is not delayed. We condemn the recent hints by some government officials that elections would be postponed and ask all world leaders and Human Rights organizations to put pressure on the present government of Pakistan not to delay the upcoming elections.
The global community is shocked and saddened at the assignation of Benazir Bhutto, who gave her life for restoration of a democratic rule in Pakistan. The Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) swiftly announced new leadership of PPP and is urging that the promised elections be held on the announced day. Mrs. Benazir Bhutto had wished that the democratic process should not be delayed even for one day. It will be befitting salute and homage to her!
Please do not allow even one day of delay for the resumption of democracy in Pakistan in order to swiftly defeat terrorism and restore justice and rule of law in Pakistan!

my hearty sympathies to grieved family. Its the time for democratic and developed countries to prove their claim for democratization of countries under dictatorship. They should arrange independant inquiry for BB's assasination to unconver the facts
