Through this, we aim to collect enough signatures in support of the petition to send to the Brazilian Government, the ministry of foreign affairs and the Bulgarian Embassy in Brazil, to help the Bulgarian and Palestinian doctors in Libya.
In December 1999 several foreign doctors in Libyan hospital were arrested, blamed to have infected more than 400 children with the HIV virus. After several days only 5 Bulgarian nurses, 1 Bulgarian doctor and a Palestinian doctor were not released. After almost 5 years, several experts have made protocols saying that the contamination was due to bad hygiene in the hospital and has happened before the Bulgarian medics to work there. After several trials on 6th May 2004 the court in Libya sentenced the 5 Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor to death.

Em dezembro de 1999, vбrios mйdicos estrangeiros de um hospital Libio, foram presos, acusados de contaminar mais de 400 crianзas com o virus HIV. Apуs vбrios dias, apenas cinco enfermeiras bulgaras e um medico palestino continuaram presos.
Apуs quase 5 anos, inъmeros especialistas tкm dito que a contaminaзгo ocorreu em decorrкncia da pйssima hygiene do hospital, e que incidentes como esse, jб haviam acontecido mesmo antes da equipe de medicos comeзar a trabalhar no hospital.
Apуs diversas audiкncias, em 6 de maio de 2004, a corte Libia, sentenciou as 5 enfermeiras bulgaras e o mйdico Palestino a morte.
