Supporting Hamid

We, the undersigned have known Hamid Reza Rasouli Gharahshiran personally for a few years. We know that he is of good character, is hard working and very responsible. We are not aware of any breaches of the law on his part nor of any criminal charges or convictions. We were informed that he has been ordered to leave Canada by 28/January/2007. We understand that he will come to a financial ruin if he needs to leave Canada before the end of summer 2007. We know that he has every intention to comply with all legal obligations and terms and conditions imposed on him. He will not cause any undue pressure on Canada's social safety net if he is allowed to stay longer and nor will he pause any risk to Canada or Canadians. We ask Canadian authorities to allow him to stay in Canada until end of summer 2007.
