Emergency Tax Fairness Resolution expressing our belief that extending tax relief for those earning less than $250.000. a year and ending tax relief for those earning more than $250,000. is the best way to end the budget deficit.

WHEREAS: President Obama stated to the American people on election night that our will would govern his actions and the policies his administration would sponsor, and

WHEREAS: the American people do not believe that extending the tax cuts to the wealthy will either create jobs for Americans or help to reduce the budget deficit, and

WHEREAS: the American People believe that ending tax cuts to the wealthy but extending tax cuts for taxes below $250,000 a year will both create American jobs and reduce the mounting budget deficit,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the undersigned urge President Obama and the United States Congress to hear our voices and to end the tax cuts for those earning more than $250,000. a year

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that tax cuts on those earning less than $250,000. a year will be extended.
