Teacher's Union Accountability For Public Education Failures Petition

I wholeheartedly support the right of every child to a quality education free of bias, discrimination, hatred. Further, in any case/situation where a child in a public school suffers from any of the above injustices, I agree that local, state and federal authorities should pursue such atrocities to the fullest extent of the law.

In doing so, the United Federatio of Teachers must surely also be pursued since they limit the rights of students and parents/guardians in schools. Thus, effective immediately I:

a) Support the formation of a United Parents Guardians and Students Association (UPGSA);
b) The inclusion of the UFT in applicable legal claims, suits and proceedings where student and parent rights are being destroyed in our own tax-payer funded K-12 schools (kindergarten to grade 12).

I am not anti union, however, when a union like the UFT continues to force local and national authorities to give pay raises and other perks and benefits to teachers while the public schools' failure rates continue to increase, is truly a tragedy that needs to be immediately addressed.

Further, I request that more male teachers are hired into publically funded schools, and more teachers are sought out and hired who come from the communities where public schools are located, thus increasing the levels of pride and empowerment in students.

When this petition has proven to be successful, may all children, of every ethnicity, religion, philosophy and socio-economic background, receive a quality education so that they have the intellectual resources to make their dreams a reality, without physical, emotional or other adult created destructive limitations.
