We need a Splashpad - to be fit, cool off, have fun and form community!
We, the undersigned hereby affirm to draw the attention of Stratford City Council and its elected members to the following:
THAT
• The City of Stratford will provide a bank account and number for the Splashpad Task Force to facilitate donations and grant proposals by September 25, 2011.
• The City of Stratford will provide income tax receipts using the City of Stratford charitable status number by September 25, 2011.
• The City of Stratford will add a “Pay Pal” button to the City website to allow online donations from the general public by September 25, 2011.
• The City of Stratford’s contracted landscape designer will have a plan developed (along with estimated costs) for the proposed site of Anne Hathaway Park by September 25, 2011.
• The City of Stratford will provide definitive site approval by September 25, 2011.
• The City of Stratford will begin construction of this Splashpad in early Spring 2012.
THEREFORE, your petitioners request that the City of Stratford adhere to the above promises by September 25, 2011 so that fundraising can start on a Splashpad to begin construction in early Spring 2012.
