You have released the second installemnt of the awarding winning Call of Duty series, Call of Duty 2. In the patches for the original game, Call of Duty, and the expansion, United Offensive, many problems were fixed. However, in the new release many of these problems have returned such as, the game server crash exploit. Also the game was released with no anti-cheat or modding tools. This has left the community with game servers full of cheats and little to no chance of creating the mods they would like to create, that would extend the life of game and also help to increase its popularity within the wider gaming community.
You have previosuly stated your disappointment with modifcations created for Call of Duty, this opinion is your own, however it was not through lack of effort by the community it was through lack of tools and support.
The signers of this petition recognise that Call of Duty and the Call of Duty franchise is the artistic vision of Activision and Infinity Ward. The signers of this petition are not asking for the game to be changed nor do we dislike the game, infact we love the game.
What we are asking for is community support and information. The signers of this petition would like to see Call of Duty become larger throughout the wider community but that is only possible with support from you, the developers. Its a proven method of increasing fan base.
Information and support in the form of newsletters, posts on your official forum, providing the community with the promised modding tools, also developer support (at some level) for an anti-cheat.
Given these items the Call of Duty community will not only grow stronger but also create modifcations that will help take Call of Duty to the wider gaming community and help build a larger stronger community for the furture.
These things have been promised in the past they but have never happened.
Please Activsion listen to us, the community, and your paying customers and provide us with ccommunity support and the promised items.

It's a shame that such a great game has not even had a public statement about Support or a Patch... The game runs poorly on the highest end PC's (2 of my PC's are as high end as you can get and playing the game on dx9 is nice looking but horrible for MP).
