We, the undersigned, wish you to reconsider your casting for Superman Returns.
Specifically, Tom Welling (portrays Clark Kent in the current Smallville series) and the other Smallville cast members of whom are actually adults and not teenagers, such as Michael Rosenbaum (32) as Lex Luthor.
The real concern here is that Brandon Routh is a not well known; but more importantly, Warner Bros and Tom Welling have done an excellent job portraying Clark Kent.
The many fans of Smallville are disappointed, as we hoped to see this cast on the big screen and grow with them in future episodes of the Superman Big screen series.
The cast of the Smallville would bring a target audience of fans, plus fans of the popular 1978-1987 Big screen series would find Tom Welling the best possible successor to who we all know as the real superman, Christopher Reeve.
