The Fate of Internet Explorer

This petition is intended to reach Eolas Technologies, Inc. and convince them to withdraw them from the lawsuits filed against Microsoft's supposed "copyright infringement." If Eolas continues and the ruling against Microsoft is not changed, then the plug-ins developed for Internet Explorer such as Flash, Shockwave, Java, and Adobe Acrobat would be discontinued, effectively eliminating popular sites such as Newgrounds.com, Homestarrunner.com, Shockwave.com, and many others. Have you no idea of what you are doing, Eolas? If you steal Microsoft's rights to develop plug-ins for Microsoft Internet Explorer, you are doing quite a few immoral things.
First, you are eliminating websites that hard-working citizens throughout the ENTIRE WORLD have paid for, with their hard-earned money. This would effectively end the using of the internet, since so many websites would be shut down; there would be none worth visiting.
Second, you would eliminate hundreds upon thousands of design companies by eliminating not only their way to broadcast their services, but to eliminate the basic foundation of what they do- the Internet!
Finally, you would end the Internet as man knows it. Altough some people are proficient in the use of other browsers, such as Opera and Mozilla, most are not, and would not understand them nor be able to find them. What have you to gain by eliminating YOUR basis of work also?
What is this argument about? You are basically attempting to destroy people's paid-for property, people's occupations, and the Internet! Are you trying to make a stand against Microsoft just to be stubborn? You have already received well over five hundred million dollars! You are acting like small children, whining and fussing while destroying computing as most know it just so you can make a point. If it weren't for Microsoft's developement of Internet Explorer, there wouldn't be ANY plug-ins to begin with! You should be grateful to them-like the old saying, "Will you bite the hand that feeds you?"
Please think about what you are doing as you decide to ruin life for many, by destroying businesses, families who stay in touch via websites, and simple people trying to stand out.
