For a fairly long time, Myspace has automatically removed any Stickam URLs from any form of text input.
For example, if I typed Stickam.
com it would not appear in any text input on Myspace.
3 Days ago, Myspace officially blocked all Project Playlist URLs form appearing in any text input. Project Playlist Players, which are hosted by many different websites, no longer appear on profiles, bulletins or comments.
Because of the way Myspace handles the removal of these URLs, I consider it abridging freedom of speech in a public forum, and thus unconstitutional. Because we are the ones who input these URLs, Myspace is not held liable should any copyright problems arise, we are the ones responsible for what we say, not Myspace.
We as a whole would like Myspace to allow us to speak freely, to say and write whatever we please for the public to read, hear and see and to allow individuals to be responsible for their actions.
