We the undersigned are a group of Julie Andrews fans who are aware that over the years you have broadcast a number of programs dedicated to Ms Andrews, her life and her career. We are writing to request that these shows be once again made available to the public.
Ms Andrews is an actress whose popularity as a great British icon is evident in the number of people who avidly follow her career and who are present at her public events and book signings both in the UK and America.
We feel that you should also know that the number of signatures we are sending here represents just a few of the many people who admire Julie Andrews and who would be delighted to watch these programs either again or for the first time through re-broadcast in the format of individual screenings or a celebratory retrospective of her wonderful career or through the production of a collaborative DVD.
