July 31, 2018     Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, , C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.Q., C.D Governor General of Canada Rideau Hall 1 Sussex Drive Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0A1     RE: The Right Honourable Justin Pierre James Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada     Excellency:   We, the people of the Commonwealth of Canada, respectfully request your intervention to exercise the reserve powers and responsibilities belonging to the Sovereign, under Section 5 of the Letters Patent Constituting the Office of the Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, 1947, to remove from his office, or to suspend from the exercise of his office, The Right Honourable Justin Pierre James Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.   We believe the following to be just and sufficient cause for such action:   1. High treason under Section 46, (c) of the Criminal Code for the $10.5M tax-free settlement compensation and official apology relating to Khadr v. Canada (Prime Minister), 2010 SCC 3, preventing due-process under Canadian laws;   Section 46, (c):    46 (1) Every one commits high treason who, in Canada,    (c) assists an enemy at war with Canada, or any armed forces against whom Canadian Forces are engaged in hostilities, whether or not a state of war exists between Canada and the country whose forces they are.    2. Posing a clear and present danger to the safety and security of the people and the Commonwealth of Canada through the support or initiation of policies relating to:   a) “methods de-emphasizing ...people who want to harm our society” - The Right Honourable Justin Pierre Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, November 20, 2017, House of Commons Debates, Oral Questions;   b) weakening the powers of national security agencies, reintegration and repatriation of terrorists, and Bill C-59;   c) Associating with known terrorists and criminals (World Tamil Movement's former Vice President; a “re-integrated” terrorist suspected of kidnapping two American journalists; a past member of the International Sikh Youth Federation; attending a personal meeting with a person facing 15 criminal charges for the purposes of a photo opportunity; attending a mosque in Papineau identified by the United States Pentagon as an al-Qaida recruitment facility and participating in ṣalāt al-ʿaṣr)   d) Bill C-6 which stripped the portions of Bill C-24 of the grounds for citizenship revocation for citizens who commit actions that are contrary to the national interest of Canada, including terrorism, high treason, certain treason or spying offences, or membership in an armed force or organized arm group engaged in conflict with Canada.   e) Bill C-75, lowering penalties for dangerous criminals;   3. Political bias and arbitrary rulings, promoting a partisan political agenda such as , but not limited to, the application of immigration policies leading an open-borders approach for refugees, costing Canada $173 million;   4. Making false financial disclosures and refusing to fully disclose the long-term financial impact and obligations related to the purchase of the Trans-Mountain pipeline from a commercial entity which deemed the project too risky to pursue;   5. Failure to protect Canada and its environment by ending fossil fuel subsidies;   6. Fiscal irresponsibility resulting in a runaway national deficit, with current estimates of $18 billion and $14 billion in 2019 and 2020 respectively;    7. Breach of Sections 6, 11, 12, and 21 of the Conflict of Interest Act in relation to the Bell's Cay, Bahamas personal vacation;   8. Instilling a pervasive culture of poor judgment and foresight, malfeasance, disdain, and mockery of the people of the Commonwealth of Canada, as evidenced by the response of Mr. Gerald Michael Butts to questions by the Ministers of Parliament during the May 10, 2017 Question Period on Parliament Hill:   “Gerald Butts @gmbutts – 11:51 AM – 10 May 2017 MPs from all over Canada finally get a chance to ask the Prime Minister a question. They all ask about his Xmas vacation.  It's May.”   9. Improper acceptance of gifts and accepting bribes in relation to the May 19, 2016 cash-for-access fundraiser which resulted in regulatory approval of the operation of Wealth One Bank of Canada;   10. Abuse of power in voting down the Conservative Party motion to transfer the Open and Accountable rules on lobbying and fundraising to the Ethics Commissioner to prevent potential conflicts of interest in government and stop cash-for-access events;   11. Failure to modernize the Access to Information Act;   12. Failure to pursue Electoral Reform;   13. Failure to reform the question period so that all Ministers, including the Prime Minister, are held to greater account;   14. Failing to re-negotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, endangering the livelihood and the economy of the Commonwealth of Canada;   The Prime Minister's policies and decisions are self-serving rhetoric in the relentless pursuit of social media “likes”, under the guises of openness, compassion, equality, and inclusion.  They are are little more than superficial, partisan mechanisms designed to secure future votes, and do little, if anything, to address the root causes of the problems they are trying to address.  In certain cases such as those described above, they are often in direct conflict with socioeconomic and national security interests of the Commonwealth of Canada, its people, and its future.     The most recent such example are the changes being contemplated to Bill C-71 which may consider legislating a handgun ban rather than targeting gang members and other criminals who use illegal, non-registered handguns to commit crimes.   The Prime Minister has used, and continues to use, the Office of the Prime Minister as his personal platform to for social acceptance, photo opportunities, and political theater and posturing.   During the tragic terrorist attack in Toronto on July 22, 2018 – in which two children lost their lives and thirteen others were injured at the hands of Faisal Hussain – the Prime Minister's focus remained his personal day activities in British Columbia.  When an opportunity presented itself to make an on-camera statement to an onlooker, the Prime Minister met this moment with the same indifference and poor judgment as he has exhibited throughout his tenure, and walked away.   While the Prime Minister can afford to walk away from matters that are not directly aligned with his interests, the people of the Commonwealth of Canada cannot.     Respectfully and without prejudice,       The Undersigned People of the Commonwealth of Canada
