In 1985, Stevie Nicks released the album titled Rock A Little. To support this album's release, the single I Can't Wait (Modern Records 0-96825) was issued on a vinyl format, containing several remixes of I Can't Wait as well as a remix of another album track, The Nightmare. With the exception of the Vocal/Rock Mix of I Can't Wait, which was re-released on Stevie's 1998 Box Set, Enchanted, none of these tracks have been commercially released in the United States on a remastered digital format.
The remixes on this release are as follows:
I Can't Wait - Vocal/Rock Mix
I Can't Wait - Dub/Rock Mix
I Can't Wait - Vocal/Dance Mix
I Can't Wait - Dub/Dance Mix
The Nightmare - Special Vocal Remix
In addition to this, there was a promo only vinyl 45 single (Modern Records 7-99565) released to radio to promote I Can't Wait containing two additional remixes; the Radio Edit "Rock" Intro and the Radio Edit "Soft" Intro. Again, neither of these tracks have seen a commercial released in the United States on a remastered digital format.
In the United Kingdom, a 12" vinyl single for I Can't Wait was released (Parlophone 12R 6110) which contained an exclusive version of the title track from Stevie's Rock A Little album. The version of the song Rock A Little that was released in the United States was an edit of the version released in the UK on the aforementioned 12" single. The unedited version released in the UK has never been commercially available in the United States on a remastered digital format.
Another single from Stevie's Rock A Little album is the song titled Talk To Me. An alternate version of this song was given to Time/Life for their release: It's Only Rock And Roll, 1986. This track has never been commercially released in the United States under the artist name Stevie Nicks in a remastered digital format.
Lastly, When Stevie released her 1998 Box Set, Enchanted, one of the tracks that was not included was an outtake from the Rock A Little recording sessions, a song titled Mirror Mirror, which was eventually released in the US on a cassette only format - as the b-side to Blue Denim (Modern/Atlantic 4-98232), which was a single from Stevie's 1994 LP release titled Street Angel. Again, this track has never been commercially released in the United States on a remastered digital format.
We, The Undersigned, who are also the fans of the recording artist Stevie Nicks, whose career has thus far spanned 32 years and has a very well established consumer fan-base, respectively ask both Stevie Nicks, as well as her current and past recording labels (including but not limited to: Reprise Records, Warner Brothers Records, Atlantic Records, Modern Records, Parlophone, WEA International) to take the necessary actions and make commercially available all 10 of the aforementioned songs together, at once, in the United States on a remastered digital format, i.e. Compact Disc (CD). This will be of benefit to both us the fans, but also the artist, and her respective representatives in such that:
-The fans will get to purchase the music they've asked for
-The artist and her representatives will benefit by both the economic factors as well as the commercial exposure
Thank you so much for your time,
Respectively,
The fans of Stevie Nicks
