On August 22, 2003 evening Army major S Ravi Shankar of 1 Corps Grid Signals Regiment, AERN, posted in Mathura gone missing and on august 24, 2003 his family was informed that Major Ravi Shankar was dead and his body was cremated on the 23rd evening as an unidentified body found on the railway tracks.
Two Court of Inquiries had been done which found that Major Ravi Shankar died due to an accident when a goods train hit him on August 23, 2003 while crossing a railway track at Mathura station seems to be totally absurd.
We demand the central govt. to order an enquiry with CBI to unfold the MYSTERIOUS DEATH of the major & and the involvement of any banias (trader) in his death .We hope many facts will be uncovered about the influence of banias in army purchases.
