THE UNANIMOUS DECLARATION OF THE PEOPLE OF WESTERN NEW YORK

Here's the declaration of WNY Independence that Carl Paladino, the outspoken political activist and developer read on WBEN Monday, while sitting in with Tim Wenger for WBEN's Tom Bauerle.

THE UNANIMOUS DECLARATION OF THE PEOPLE OF WESTERN NEW YORK



When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with Despotic Tyrants to wit: Byron Brown; Buffalo News Publisher, Stan Lipsey; Buffalo/Niagara Partnership President Andy Rudnick; and New York State Senators Stachowski and Thompson and to assume the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Natures God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to separate.

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endows by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -- That whenever any form of government and leadership becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute New Government, laying its foundation on such principals and organize its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness..

When a long train of abuses and usurpationsevince a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right; it is their duty, to throw off such government and to provide new Guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of the People of Western New York..The history of the Despotic Tyrants is a history of the repeated injuries and usurpations, all imposing absolute tyranny over the people. The facts are:

1) Byron Brown, of Queens, NY., has administered a government corrupt and incompetent at the core fostering:

a. Retaliation {i.e. Gestapo Deputy Casey (of Philadelphia) sent 250 swat police to the peaceful Canisius student Spring break party to punish the College for releasing tapes showing the cover-up of his sons joyride}

b. Intimidation {i.e. crying to Washington to silence HUDS Banko after the release of HUDs scathing report on the abuse of Federal monies intended for the poor};

c. Political favors {i.e. Eugene Holiday, Gigis Restaurant, Stenhouse and Modern Landfill}

d. Bad judgment {i.e. has he never call out the train wreck in Albany or our dysfunctional school system or Supt. Williams deal to appease Rumore by calling for Albany to stop expanding Charter Schools};

e. Illegality {i.e. conspiring with Brian Davis to use Leonard Stokes {the criminal #2 leader of the Fruit Belt Posse} as their front man to create a Grassroots clubhouse funded by BERC Federal monies set aside for the poor}

f. Abuse of Power {i.e. he costs taxpayers over $1Mil/yr by assigning himself a 10-policeman security detail, removed from fighting crime}

g. Crime {i.e. his only plan for dealing with crime and nightly murders is recognized ineffective gun buyback program. Bad guys dont give up their guns? Guns dont kill. People kill.}

h. Transparency {i.e. he touts transparency but the Council and the press must file a FOI to get public papers. He asked where is this policeman who says I let Stokes go but didnt disclose to us that his police brass muzzled the officer threatening that he will be Delanoed if he speaks out. His initial reply was that he is fact checking. There were only 3 men in the room. Who was Byron checking with?

i. Embarrassment {i.e. City-Stat is management 101 and a useless tool waste of resources. He is inaccessible because his handlers must coach him to help understand big words and sentences.

2) Stan Lipsey, of Omaha, Nebraska, the protector of the status quo, with his editorial board last Wednesday interviewed Byron Brown. Without conferring with others in the room, as Byron left, Lipsey, put his arm around Byrons should and told him not to worry, the paper would endorse him. The result was the non-endorsement and endorsement of Byron that was so convoluted it sounded like schizophrenic wrote it. Lipsey claimed that Byron had a first term record of accomplishment, has a sound fiscal record and has helped keep economic development on track. He obviously doesnt read h is own paper. He calls the Citys train wreck demolition plan Byrons signature demolition program. Lipsey has arrogantly persisted over the years in exerting his liberal elitist establishment status quo agenda over the editorial content of the News.

3) Andy Rudnick, of Houston, Texas, the pretender to the leadership of the leaderless Partnership has historically refused to assume a viable advocacy role on the multitude of issues that adversely affect his members, let alone the community. Connect the dots to best buddy Lipsey. He and his executive board unbelievably refused to endorse in the current mayoral election despite the obvious corruption and incompetence of the Brown Administration. He and his cohorts have gathered the power of the private sector to serve their own agenda denying service to the People. The most taxed and the third poorest city in America, we have the highest electric rates despite having one of the largest power projects in the word. Albany abuses upstate daily but useless Andy says he works behind the scenes with the disrespected Unshackle, New York. A liberal elitist protector of the business cabal sewing chatter society who enjoy the status quo, Andy does not have the intestinal fortitude to lead. Its time for Andy to go back to Houston.

4) Antoine Thompson and Bill Stachowski have served N.Y. City well and should live there. The illiterate clown and gutless charlatan, more interested in his pension than doing the Peoples work have no comprehension of the needs of their constituents.

In every state of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms, which have been answered only by repeated injury. These tyrants are unfit to rule a free people.

Therefore, we, the People of Western N.Y., declare that all connection between us and the Despotic Tyrants is and ought to be totally dissolved and for the support of this declaration we mutually pledge to each other that we will as a signal of our distress to the political class and the business elite cabal who fail to serve the People, that we the People:

1. Will cancel our subscription to the Buffalo News for two weeks effective October 1, 2009, and

2. Will contact all friends, relatives, neighbors and employees who reside in the City of Buffalo and who are eligible to vote in the Democratic Primary for Mayor on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, and will assist them to attend the polls wherever needed and encourage them to vote to deny the Tyrant Brown and his cohorts another 4 years.

3. Demand that Albany legislate that plant life not be allowed to hold public office and further that N.Y. State Senators Thompson and Stachowski be discharged from office for being in violation of said statute.

4. Demand the resignation of Stan Lipsey as publisher of the Buffalo News and Andy Rudnick as President of the Partnership.
