Let's keep the A's where they belong.
Just recently, Athletics' owner Lew Wolff announced plans to build a new stadium in South Fremont and move the team there permenantly. If all goes according to Wolff's plans, the A's will have a new ballpark but will no longer carry the Oakland name. By 2012, we could be looking at either the Fremont A's or the Silicon Valley A's. The history behind our beloved team is too strong to uproot them from their home.
Four world championships.
Seven MVP awards.
Five Cy Young awards.
Six Rookie of the Year awards.
20 Gold Glove awards.
Two Manager of the Year awards.
120+ All-Stars since 1960.
Any true A's fan or supporter would not hesitate for one second to sign it. Remember there is no "A" in Fremont.
