"As a recent graduate of Tech, I think this is a completely inappropriate use of censorship. I enjoyed seeing the statue when I was at Tech, and I see no reason to remove the sculpture."

"The tornado of ideas is a part of a rich tradition of Tech's concerning public art. I myself have proudly shown strangers the public art on campus. Removing the statue would be a discredit to the University on many, many levels."
