As most of you know I want to invest both my business experience and personal wealth into PVFC with the goal of taking the club into the Championship within 5 years. Before I invest in anything, I fully appraise the situation against myself to ensure I can add value. I share my appraisal with you here, because I believe it will ultimately be your voice that determines the success of my bid (and by definition the success of your football club) After reading the appraisal I hope you will sign my petition to join me in informing the Port Vale Board that it is Time to move over so Port Vale can move forward

PVFC current situation
Lack of shared short/medium/long-term goals
A Club which currently
* Has accrued over 2 million in losses up to 31st June 2010
* Owes 2.5 million to creditors
* Owes more than its asset value( on current valuation assessment)
* Loses money every week
* At risk of running out of working capital-imminent
* Probably heading for insolvency resulting in existing shareholder value being NIL
* Lacks transparency, what has happened to the one fan/one vote?
* Lost touch with its fans
* Lacking in Sales & Marketing, PR and other key revenue generating areas
* The club has slipped to the lowest league under the Stewardship of its current Directors and has even hovered dangerously close to exiting the league altogether.
* Has just lost its most important asset in Mickey Adams
8 Directors who
* Only own 31\% of share capital yet control the club
* Who collectively have only invested 364k of their own money
* Lack key commercial skills required to turn the situation around
* Lack passion, vigour and fresh ideas.
* Lack cash and/or willingness to invest cash
* Lack ambition
* Lack the collective vision required for modern sports business success.
* A dire track record of failure during their tenure at PVFC

Ambitious, focussed, success driven who at the age of 50 is eager to create and leave a lasting legacy in his own back yard
Retain shareholders on Par(5 /share) and increase value for ALL shareholders when successful
Willing to risk both cash, reputation and fight dogma to do it
Access to other funds and contacts to drive revenue streams into PVFC
A commitment to a transparent and open style of ownership, engaging with the fans and inviting views, opinions and assistances so ensuring a true partnership with the fans and community at large.
A commitment to the youth set up including make funds available so committing the club to a sustained youth development program encouraging and nurturing home grown talent.
Develop relationships with UK and overseas football clubs to improve and exploit opportunity to identify and attract players
A commitment to push the brand of PVFC far and wide. This will include a commitment to improve the club's scouting network with investment as and when required.
A commitment to a forward thinking and innovative approach to the business of PVFC and the appointment of a CEO who is significantly experienced in such matters and will bring the necessary drive to implement such strategy.
I will ensure PVFC fully integrates with its wider community, encouraging all sections of the community to participate within the club - irrespective of age, race, religion or sex. The aim is to ultimately draw in crowds in excess of 15,000 for match days. I want to ensure PVFC is a family club and create an enjoyable experience for both home and away fans.
Has a credible plan which includes
* Debt/financial restructuring to avoid insolvency and cash wastage
* Substantial investment up to 3 million
* Further funds made available
* A short term plan to avoid insolvency
* A medium/long term plan for success to take PVFC into the Championship
* Fresh ideas to increase fan base
* Fresh ideas to move Port Vale to become a genuine sporting/event venue
* Fresh ideas to enable PVFC to reach into the community and become a model club
* A CREDIBLE PLAN IMPLEMENTED BY CREDIBLE PEOPLE
