Dear Mr. President,
Undoubtedly you have followed the events of the last few days of Iran. Through staging televised debate-shows in the last few weeks, and giving relative freedom to the people to participate in the Presidential election, the ruling Islamic Republic of Iran succeeded to pull the individuals who were seeking fundamental changes in government and its policies to the polling stations.
The elections whose quality and conduct you witnessed (peoples participation) and its results that astonished the world. The elections whose candidates had passed through various filters and were all approved by the Islamic regime
Mr. President, today the people of Iran, in claiming their stolen rights remain no longer silent and as you witness will continue with their non-violent and civil struggle.
The question that we Iranians are now asking you Mr. President is this:
Is it not the time to take a more serious decision in your policy towards the Islamic Republic? Is it not the time that instead of extending your hand towards this criminal and terror supporting regime, reach out to the freedom seeking people of Iran who have shown their friendship with the American nation in recent years?
Certainly yourself and the people of the United States of America will not forget the massive expression of sympathy and solidarity as was demonstrated by the people of Iran in the aftermath of the September 11th atrocities, who took to the streets and sympathized with the American people while the ruling Islamic regime was showing their pleasure at the disaster.
In conclusion, we beg of you to support the people and freedom lovers of Iran.
Respectfully,
