Toyota should import the Caldina to US shores!!!1

I am petitoning the automaker Toyota for sending over crappy so-called "tuner" cars that are these weak underpowered, naturally aspirated toyota version of vtec, vvti powered cars. They clearly have the means, the market is there, with the success of the evo and subaru wrx to make way for the Caldina. The Caldina is Toyotas best car out right now, it has AWD and 2.0 260hp turbocharged 3sgte to power it, which makes it toyotas fastest production car right now.



As an mr2 turbo owner, I find the growl of the 3sgte a beautiful symphony of 2.0 power like none other, and with no reliability issues and plenty of strong components from the factory, like internals that can withstand 450whp and a fuel system thats good up to 275whp, for a 1991 motor, thats a lot of power! The 4th gen 3sgte has more than a decade of added technology, a better turbo, lower compression pistons, 550cc injectors, more advanced/fuel efficient ECU etc. ontop of what my 2nd gen came with. The 4th gen 3sgte is faster, more fuel efficient and has even better highend hp possibilities than the 2nd gen 3sgte motor that the US shores are stuck with. For the price, no other turbo 2.0 can match the price and reliability of a 3sgte engine.



Toyota continues to upgrade and produce this wonderful engine and put it in there cars, but have failed to send a real tuner car like the Caldina to America's shores, and instead keeps sending us these watered down, Toyota vtec, vvti cars. Nothing else Toyota makes can match the turbo power of its 3sgte motor, let alone the 4th gen 3sgte that the Caldina gets. Toyota needs to change this! The Market for 2.0 turbos is big over here, and Toyota can easily grab a peice of the pie!



So sign my petition to start bringing Caldina's over to US shores, and I will send this to the corporate big people at toyota, trying to figure out how they can market more cars to younger people, and keep Toyota at its designated #1 spot!
