Truth from DNC on 527 Groups

As the controversy stirs around the 527 group Swift Boat Veterans for Truth it has become apparent that the Kerry Campaign and the DNC are coordinating with liberal 527 groups.

We call upon Senator John F. Kerry, Terry McAuliffe, Mary Beth Cahill, the Democratic National Committee and the Kerry-Edwards Campaign to publicly explain their active connections to Joe Sandler, Jim Jordan, Sam Kaplan and Zach Exley; all of whom are active in both liberal 527 organizations and the Kerry campaign or DNC.

We call upon the DNC to publicly offer evidence that they are not in direct contact with and are not coordinating with Harold Ickes, Steve Rosenthal, Minyon Moore, Simon Rosenburg, Cecile Richards, Joe Carmichael, Howard Wolfson, Johnathon Mantz or Michael Lux; all of whom are former Clinton administration or DNC officials now in executive positions at liberal 527 groups including Media Fund, America Coming Together, MoveOn.org, New Democrat Network, America Votes, Grassroots Democrats, New House PAC, American Family Voices and the Progressive Donor Network.

We demand that the Kerry campaign and the Democratic National Committee explain why they are advertising liberal 527s on their websites in apparent coordination. The DNC's "Supreme Court Action Center" has a link to MoveOn.org. The Kerry-Edwards Blog details an appearance by Teresa Heinz-Kerry at a MoveOn.org "house party." The DNC details it's "partnership" with MoveOn.org in an anti-Republican petition drive. An explanation is required.
