Irrespective of our preferred political parties, we (the undersigned) believe that David Cameron must address the outbreaks of rioting, arson and looting which are spreading throughout our country.
We call for our elected Leaders to demand a full inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mark Duggan, in the longer term. Meantime, we demand an end to all acts of violence (as detailed above) and we call for support from Police divisions, outwith the affected areas, and those of other emergency services and armed forces.
We accept that due force must be used and that this will be debated and criticised in the future. The people of the United Kingdom rely on our elected Leaders, and their Government, to take immediate control of this issue - with the knowledge that the eyes of the world are upon us. Britain is a country of people; now is the time to protect and defend the majority who DO NOT condone these acts of violence but accept that force must be used, to an extent, to curb this mindless violence and the associated minority who are uprising in OUR name.
