We think these practices and procedures are unfair and abusive to consumers. We believe the below stated policies to be a direct attack on the consumer and furthermore we also believe these policies are an unethical approach to reaping untold profit on the backs of all working and middle class people:
Stop Credit Card Companies/Credit Reporting Agencies Abuses Now!
The below stated points are what we believe to be Unfair Policies of Credit Card Companies/Credit Reporting Agencies:
Over the limit fees that are above excessive ($39) that can be caused by interest being attached to a consumer
account.
Late fees that are above excessive and do not allow for a grace period.
Not being able to report principle amount separate from interest to allow consumer to pay extra on principle in order to reduce principle amount.
Having a credit reporting agency give determination on whether or not you can get a job and/or an apartment. (Having a bad credit does not mean you are a bad employee).
Consumers Credit should not be use to determine their eligibility for Auto Insurance
Interest rates that can go above 23\% to loan shark amounts.
Banks collecting upfront insurance from the consumer that cannot benefit the consumer in any real way.
After an account is marked closed for a consumer and a monthly payment is agreed upon, a credit card company should not be able to still accrued late fees, interest and over the limit amounts.
Credit card companies added fees and costs to a consumer account without authorization or permission.
Sharing consumer personal information without the consumers written or even oral permission.
Unfair attachment by the credit card companies/credit card reporting agencies of a family member to another who is not
responsible for and/or originator of the said credit card debt.
Negatively reporting consumers to credit agencies such as Trans Union, TRW and Experian for late payments and having that negative report remain on your credit for 7 years or more.
