United Nations Human Rights Council's Intervention on Intensifying North Korean Human Trafficking

As of 2011, North Korea is in a state of extreme poverty, to the extent that numberless North Korean women are signing up to be trafficked for prostitution in China for just 500 Yuan ($80). Yes, it is cheaper than a children\'s toy sold in Walmart.

I, as a Korean student studying abroad in America, was completely flabbergasted to hear this news. I was also infuriated by the fact that not a single international organization; most notably the United Nations, has step forward to support and suppress such illegal human traffiking when it is all over the media.

So please, for the sake of those wretched souls, consider this petition with sagacious discretion. I am desperate to see the United Nations Human Rights Council place this issue as the next agenda to be discussed in the conference, hopefully bringing about a solution to stop this inhumane atrocity once and for all.

Many lives can be salvaged.
