The Food Security Bill is due to be discussed during the Winter Session of Parliament. Urge Parliamentarians to:
1. Vote for the inclusion of millets in the definition of food grains, in the Food Security Bill. and in PDS and other government food programs
2. Vote for decentralization of PDS as envisaged by the Food Security Bill.
These provisions could be crucial to the food security of the millions of poor and marginalized in the country, and help the country move towards food and national sovereignty.
