This petition was created for submission to the ownership and management of the Vancouver Canucks hockey organization. We as loyal supportive fans of the team for many years, are happy to see hockey back in this city. Many of us are also supportive of the new nhl rule changes and CBA additions. Our proposal is to give the team a new look for the new NHL. We would like to propose the use of our original vintage logo commencing at the start of the 2006-07 hockey season. It has been over 9 years since we have updated our look, and collectively feel now a better time than ever. If for some reason the ownership does not wish to explore the possiblity of using our historic stick and rink logo, a community event for new logo designs could also help generate interest in a new design altogether.
