MY NAME IS SHANNA PHIPPS AND I AM A VICTIM OF A DRUNK DRIVER I LOST MY GRANDMOTHER, AUNT ,AND UNCLE IN OCT 2000 BY A DRUNK DRIVER IN 2004 THE DRUNK DRIVER CAME UP FOR PAROLE WE GOT HELP FROM VICTIMS SERVICES WE LEARNED WHAT OUR RIGHTS WERE AS THE VICTIM WITHOUT THESE SEVICES VICTIMS WOULD HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING THIER RIGHTS PRESIDENT BUSH IS WANTING TO TAKE THE GRANT MONEY FROM THESE SERVICES IF HE MANAGES TO DO THIS THERE WILL BE NO WHERE FOR VICTIMS TO GO TO FOR HELP I DONT KNOW HOW MY FAMILY WOULD HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT VICTIMS SERVICES PLEASE SIGN MY PETITION AND LET BUSH KNOW VICTIMS HAVE RIGHTS DONT TAKE OUR FUNDS.

As long as there are victims out there we need VOCA to help them find their way. If you deny VOCA the money they need you are saying the victims are not as important as the criminals. Don't take the only voice some may know, help us keep VOCA going strong
