Wal*Mart Higher Wages Petition

This is an acutal petition to WAL*MART corporate in Bentonville, Arkansas to raise the hourly wage of all starting associates to $10.00 hourly regardless if hired part-time or full-time. I, as the petition author and former WAL*MART employee, feel that it is time for people hired at WAL*MART to start being payed a livable minimum wage. The starting wage I was being payed was $7.00 hourly for part-time employment. On my paycheck I saw I worked roughly 60.00 hours and my highest paycheck was roughly 400.00 from two weeks of work. This is an outrage and can no longer be tolerated. Please sign this petition with the good of this country, America in mind.
