Ware High School Lunch

We, The students, of the Ware High School, ask that the school cafeteria and its food to be improved. Food is soggy, cold, or extremely undesireable. The cafeteria manager takes credit from the cafeteria ladies when they do a good job, and when a state representitive attends the school, the school kitchen is at tip-top shape only upon their arrival. The lunch ladies are polite and hardworking, but the food is very disquisting. Food does not come from a good source, they choose poor types of food and there are no good secondary choices. Food is often repeated weekly and the food that is favored by the students is only cooked once in a great while. While foods like "Cold cut grinders" or sandwiches are so often repeated that they are hated. Sandwiches are all that are available during fridays. The school lunches are herrendous do to the lack of choices and varities, the lunch ladies try so hard for a choice but the manager is stubborn and won't listen. Even with the bad lunches, we are overpriced, a lunch today costs $1.85, where it has been increasing over the years, while faculty has to pay about three times the price that a student has to pay, which in our opinion is extremely unfair. They claim that we recieve more food this way, but we did not get any kind of increase with out food. So, the students of Ware High ask that our school manager either gives us a better lunch menu and lowers the food price, or backs down from his position.
