CBS recently added the new character of Special Agent Ashley Seaver to the popular crime drama "Criminal Minds." Some "fans" of the show seem to hate the new character for no apparent logical reason (i.e. only because the characters of JJ and Prentiss have/are leaving the show - which despite the horrible ways they were forced out - is part of the natural evolution of ANY show) and have started a petition to remove her (and subsequently the actress who portrays her, the ever-so-lovely Rachel Nichols). Ms. Nichols is nothing but kind to everyone, including people who have attacked her on the social networking site Twitter.com. We want to counter the so-called "haters" of SA Seaver and Ms. Nichols, and put our voices out there as well. Although we may miss JJ and Prentiss (and therefore A.J. Cook and Paget Brewster), we also believe that SA Ashley Seaver is a wonderful addition to the cast. In our opinions, she is not "ruining the show," but rather adding a new fresh perspective to the show that we truly enjoy. We hope that doesn't leave the show, and wish for her presence to remain on Criminal Minds for years/seasons to come.
