We request that the Nickelodeon network release Rocco's Modern Life on DVD.

Rocco's Modern Life was not only the best of the original five Nicktoons on the Nickelodeon network, but one of the greatest cartoons of the nineties; its uniquely unassuming parody of generic American life reminded one to approach the day with a healthy sense of incredulity and insult.

The writing was excellent, spanning every genre of humor from innocent and meaningless to absurd or satirical. Rarely is this sort of diverse humor seen in current animated shows; as such, we believe that not only old fans but new viewers would appreciate a series DVD and a re-syndication of the show.

The success of DVD releases and re-syndication of shows like Family Guy and Futurama proves that viewers appreciate good television and can not only drive millions of DVD sales but actually put new episodes of long defunct shows back on the air.

Because of the aforementioned reasons, we believe that the Nickelodeon network should release the Rocco's Modern Life series on DVD.
