"Releasing Pan and Scan releases for Joe 6 Pack is all well and good, but please remember the growing number of people who prefer to see the film the way the director intended. Remember we are the people who made DVD such a success to start with, while Joe"

"Widescreen is the best. Show them the difference and what they will miss if it was in Full Screen and they will love Widescreen. It worked for my dad when I educated him about it. He didn't get it at first and now fully supports Widescreen formats 100%."

"i personally will not tolerate your decision to re-release previous widescreen/full frame releases with full frame only. and by using the same exact UPC code, there is no way to differentiate the original release from the reissue. there were plenty of you"

"widescreen is really the only way...the rest of the world shows movies on TV in widescreen...when we learn in the US? Doing this does not help educate why widescreen is better."

"No OAR =NO SALE. If I do buy a pan-and-scan disc in error, it is returned immediately with some harsh words to the retailer regarding selling faulty product."

"If you have to include a P & S version, that is fine, but don't forget about us that like a movie in it's true OAR! Though the average public doesn't care about the art form that art is, there are many of us that do and by doing this, you not only do "

"I spend about $2400 a year on DVD. Not one penny of that goes (or ever will) to non-OAR releases. I stopped watching chopped-up theatrical films on free network TV many years ago; I will certainly not spend good money on these "slice and dice" products."
