We want honest national selection for Eurovision 2011 Ukraine!

Dear Europe!
Dear Ukrainians!

We, supporters of Eurovision in Ukraine, want to tell you about this years ukrainian selection for the Contest!

February 26, 2011 were held a final national selection for participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 on channel First National. Mika Newton was announced as the winner of selection!

Voting was conducted by the following rules: sms-voting (45\% of votes), Internet voting (10\%) and the jury votes (45\%.

We have to say, that in SMS voting you could send unlimited votes per phone number. This rule of course affected the results. Thus the results of voting were distortional and could not reflect the true will of the Ukrainian fans. So, according to voting results, we see that Mika Newton have got only 29 064 SMS votes from 1996 numbers, while Jamala - 10 800 SMS votes from 6365 numbers and Zlata Ohnyevich - 19 900 SMS votes from 3906 tel. numbers. So you can see that number of fans who voted for Mika Newton is twice less than number of fans of Zlata Ohnyevich and three times less than Jamals fans. This shows, that officially was chosen candidate, who have got more SMS votes, but less voters, instead of choosing the candidate who really got biggest number of solo voters. In other words saying, 1996 solo voices do not shows the majority and do not reflect the views of all Ukraine!
Also you have to read thoughts of Eurovision fans from other countries who are leaving their comments on various international and Ukrainian Internet resources. Obvious disagreement with the results selections you can see here: http://www.eurovision.tv,

From these portals you can see that Mika Newtons support is very low!

We are not supporters of some specific candidates, but we want our opinion to be considered and respected!
We also declare that we have nothing against Mika Newton as a person, but we demand justice!

If voting would be conducted fairly, than any discussions on this matter would not be at all!

Regardless of whoever could won in this unfair voting, we, the fans of Eurovision, would still defend our rights!

We demand a fair national selections!
