Dear Ted Thompson, Bob Harlan and the rest of the Packers Organization,
We as the fans of the Green Bay Packers object to the decision of releasing Mike Sherman as head coach of The Green Bay Packers. As of recent interviews, Brett Favre had said Mike Sherman leaving the team would weigh as a large factor of him coming back as the team's starting quarterback. Even though, Mr. Thompson, you have stated that you want Brett back, you have rid of a large aspect of him not retiring.
We also believe, as fans, that Sherman has not proven he isn't compatible as a coach. Yes, he did in fact have a losing season this year, but, Mike has also lead the team to three NFC North Division titles in the six years he has been here. The fact that the whole team suffered a losing season should not be put on Sherman. It's not Mike's fault that there were several injuries, more than twenty. He had to deal with the guys he had which came out negative. Every coach should be allowed one losing season.
As the fans of this team, we are simply asking to give Mr. Sherman another chance; for the teams sake, for Brett Favre's sake and for the fans' sake. We would deeply appreciate it if you would listen and take our thoughts into consent.

Ted, i told you i would leave if you fired Mike. i thought that made it very clear to keep Mike as coach, but i guess your brain doesn't work all the time. why don't you take a little responsibility for the team's bad season and fire yourself. i hate you.

Mike Sherman deserves another year. This year was a dismal bust thanks to the GM who recruits talent in bars and thinks he's creative. Dismiss Thompson and bring back Sherman.
