Why Bother Watching?

We, the undersigned are tired and browned off with american television broadcast stations cancelling good shows. We are tired of crass stupidity within the american networks for allowing political, boardroom tactics, ill-concieved possible future statistics, etc, to interfear with the proper running of a television station and its programme listings.

The canceling of good shows, not giving them a chance to get established even before the end of their first season is moronic. Classics like Star Trek, Doctor Who, etc didn't take off straight away, yet they were given a chance and the outcome is obvious to all.

If this situation continues to persist of cancelling, we have adopted the policy that we will not watch your new programmes. What would be the point, your going to eventually cancel them prematurely!

Instead, if necessary, we will wait for the programme to be available on dvd. This way we avoid your advertising, we stand some change of actually seeing all the parts of a programme and the companies that are stupid to insert their own air time, are wasting their money. Their financial loss and less product recognition can be blamed purely on the people with no stamina and grit to see something throught to its end.
