The many players of Final Fantasy XI across multiple platforms are disgusted at Square Enix for their complete bungling of the release of their latest expansion, Wings of the Goddess.
I. Release date not kept on time for PC Users in North America. Most people didn't get their copies of the expansion until the day after Thanksgiving if not the Monday after.
II. Registration servers stayed congested for over three days without any fix in sight. Many people who paid for next day shipping were unable to play the game as soon as they got it due to being unable to register the expansion. No alternate method has been created to register by Square-Enix.
III. The lack of content available in the expansion when first released was low. Many users have been quoted saying that the it feels like a beta of the expansion. A lot of areas are there, but empty. Not a whole lot to do when it comes to quests, no new armor sets, new jobs feel unfinished, etc.
Considering all three of these things, Square-Enix needs to make an effort to assure it's loyal user base that something of this sort will never happen again from such a large company. Some sort of in game reward for putting up with all this unprofessional conduct could also be warranted.

Two jobs, rehashed and empty areas. Lack of transportation this expansion isn't ready. Not to mention the blundered release date and the congested servers. I just think Square-Enix could have done better.

SE should compensate Windows users, We pay the subsription fee, and apparently for lackluster service.
