Women Exploitation

Today i was watching Much Music and I had to turn the television off and walk away because i was personaly insulted as a woman. When did men in this world find it acceptable to treat women as objects? When did society decide it was acceptable to let men call women whores or other rude things such as that? My wish may be far fetched, but I believe we should live in a society where women are treated as human beings, NOT OBJECTS. I know this petition alone can not siece the way people think, or act. I can only hope that it will raise awareness. I don't apreciate the way society has treated women these past few years and i have decided to take a stand. So please, the next time you turn on the television, only to see a man exploiting women, please turn of the television and walk away, I also encourage you to write letters, or just boycott the exploitation of women in the media to join women in the fight of unjust treatement.
