"This is a hardship for working families, as well as a disservice to students. I am required to do my professional development on my own time, and do not understand why teachers are any exception, especially with summers available."
"Especially hard on those of us who work full time. Did you think perhaps that some "production" people must give scheduled vacation days at the beginning of the year, which DPS did NOT allow for. Look at St. Vrain...they offer child care on late start day"
