"I am furious about the institution of these "1/2 days"! It's reduced significantly the amount of vacation time my family has together since now I must take vacation days to accomodate this new schedule. It's especially infuriating because I see days taken"

"This is not only inconvenient to working parents, but the last late start day my child went to school, ate lunch, went to recess and did not do any regular school work for the remainder of the day. Very wasteful way to spend my tax dollars."
