"Up until about 3 weeks ago I was able to walk to and from my home to work via Bute Park, but then the gates started to be locked at 16.00 (1 poor jogger actually being locked in!) and I had to take a 10 minute detour through noisy, smelly traffic. Please "
"At present the gates are locked well before dark actually falls so even though there is adequate natural light one can't get through. Could this practice be revised immediately so one can cross during twilight, while questions of installing lighting etc a"

"The absurd current closing times of the park are more than just a nuisance: the council is in effect exposing cyclists to danger. Castle Street and Cathedral Road are highly dangerous places for anyone on two wheels."

"I use the park at least 2 times a day. Having to go the long way because the park shuts at 3.45pm in the winter is a pain. Limited, discreet lighting should be installed for safety reasons."
