"As there are no "gates" to close at the top of the park, the park is open anyway and people still use it, closing the gates at the bottom is an annoying gesture to Health and Safety, nothing more."

"As a regular user of the park, it seems shocking that this major route is not kept open, forcing walkers and cyclists on to very busy roads. Not a wise strategy for a modern, green city."
